We thought it would be really interesting, for this competition, to ask you for any tips and tricks you have used, whether on your Hi-Fi or Home Cinema, that have brought noticeable improvements to your system. These can be any ideas you like - for example, based around a new use for an existing product, or you may have found something that you have used in an inventive way. Whatever it is, we’d like to hear from you and share some of your tips with your fellow readers.

As usual, your answers will be judged by Russ, so you need to tell us what you have done and what improvements it has brought (you may even like to offer a reason why you think it has worked too).

The best will be published in the next issue of Connected magazine and one entrant will be the lucky recipient of a Kimber HD-09 HDMI cable worth £75.95.
