Yes, they do, according to this article...
http://www.myfinances.co.uk/loans-and-credit/features-guides/the-problem-with-unsecured-loan-brokers-$1361269.htmFC Loans, meanwhile, also charge a fee for those accepted for a loan and this would be £49.99 for a person borrowing £15,000. This company promises an instant decision, a payout within 24 hours and does not mind – it says – lending to customers with bad credit records or CCJs against their names.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

FC loans are similar to other loan brokers that simply pass your details to lenders. However, they charge a fee and deliberately mislead you. You are told from the start that the loan you want is available and quote an APR that they say won't change much. All you have to do is pay a document transfer fee, a letter saying your money has been allocated follows. In reality, there is no guarantee of a loan, no money is allocated, it's the actual loan companies that decide whether or not you get the loan and at what interest rate.
Not worth bothering with considering there are many other companies offering similar service with no upfront fee.0 -
Hello
Please do not use this company !!
I tried to get a loan in April 2010 they promised big and i stupidly gave my card details but within two weeks i rang and cancelled with them ! i asked them to email me to confirm this which they saying they had removed my details etc.
Then 3 weeks ago i was overdrawn and found out this company took £49.99 from and they had made 115 attempted transactions on my account but as i hardly have any money in this one account they never succeeded.I rang my banks fraud department and the police.
I have tried to get hold of this company they then blocked me emailing them !! then there operational director James hobson emailed me and said he was personally dealing with my case !! that was 2 weeks ago !! they now wont take calls and block your emails etc the financial ombudsman is aware as is BBC watchdog !! so do not go to this company !! they are fraudsters and scammers !!0 -
Sorry, your Bank's fraud department AND the Police?
When you gave them your card details?0
