I can't believe no-one has answered you here Martin

Everyone is either very shy or don't need it. I would love to apply but would need to tidy up before you came and that could take a while

The majority of people wouldn't want there financial details on National TV - but I'm sure you'll find people. Sounds a little like 'The Bank of Mum and Dad'.0

Bank of Mum and Dad - are also looking for new people as they are soon to start recording for a second series.
As I know Lawrence Gold the Finance Guy on it.

Daniel
*shiver* that show was so like Wife Swap - you'd never, ever EVER put yourself through the humiliation, but you love watching the people that do
We always thought that it was really funny how Lawrence drove up everywhere in a fancy posh car, as if he was blatantly going hahaha I've got money and you haven't

Hopefully we are all sorted financially especially since using this site, but it is a great opportunity for someone struggling to get straight. I love watching programmes like this though, I think most people do, either thinking "I am pleased not to be in that position" or "O no that could be me!"0

I have only just found this site and think its brill. I must be mad but I quite fancy a money-makeover, the TV bit sounds quite daunting however, the benefits out-weigh and terror (or humiliationi!!)I think. I have sent an email (cos I went all shy when I went to phone, u can just tell I'm going to be good on TV  ) to the link given and hope to hear back soon.
If only I'd found this site sooner!! :think:0 -
Good on yer hope you get picked...let us know how it goes0

Martin,
Firstly, thank you for the site. It's A1!!
I have replied to David but would like to add that my family would make an interesting case at the moment:
I am applying for a new job, our house has been sold and we are buying another (Chain complete and waiting for Solicitors, as usual), we are an average family (Husband, wife, Son (9) and Daughter(6)).
I have just bought another car and have dealt with my finances as best I can. I also quit smoking this Monday!! (Doing OK so far - Not one smoke since 20:30 on Monday!!).
I would love to see if you could do any better then I have!!
Best regards,
Gary C

Excellent site Martin.
I've replied to David and live in Hope
I thought I'd post this to gauge reaction to the issue
I do not (thankfully) have a huge debt looming over me or my familiy, we have two (old) cars that are ours and a mortgage that is half the value of the house. Lucky me eh? Well not quite. I believe that featuring my family, you can instantly help thousands.
We have no money for unexpected bills, holidays etc despite our best efforts to save a little each month. You could probably uncover a reasonable saving for us which could easily strike a chord with a large portion of the viewing public. Our story would not be as dramatic as some, but would be more pertinent to a whole lot more.
Worth considering? I hope so
