Incredibly Cheap Desktop at Misco

Misco are currently offering a desktop for £129.99 + VAT (£152.74). It's a pretty basic spec but should do everything that most home users need.
There's no operating system but XP Home is only about £7 extra. Or go for Kubuntu Linux (PM me if you want it free) for a complete Linux-based OS with Office etc.

Remember there's an extra 5% discount via Quidco.

Not the best spec but you get what you pay for.
No need to PM about kubuntu its part of the ubuntu project (http://www.ubuntu.com/)

Exactly - the best spec costs about £4,000

Ubuntu prefer to send out large volumes of discs for people to distribute which is why I made the offer to those who may only want one (we have a few) and not want to do a massive download. Can take a few weeks to arrive from them but well worth it. If I didn't have to have Windows to develop software then I'd be tempted!
