BR and Pension/Superannuation

Next niggle (tis ok, not going to flood the forum with niggles
) but ..
I paid superannuation to a previous employer for 19 years which I won't get until I'm a lot 'aulder' i.e. 20 years time. It's frozen and I can't get my mitts on it. Do I declare it on the online form ? Cheers.

Hi Auldblerk,
Yes you should include it on your forms.
If your pension is Inland Revenue approved it will be exempt from BR, if it isn't then the OR will try and realise it for your creditors.
99% of pensions are safe but might be worth a phone call to the pension company concerned to double check.
