I find morrisons have offers on food we actually need to eat, like meat, fruit & veg, tesco's only ever seem to have offers on junk, chocolate, beer, wine etc.

I also prefer morrisons meat to any other supermarket. There fruit is great, im not to fussed that is goes off a little quicker as it never lasts long enough in this house with my monsters anyway.

And i love the fact that in morrisons i can sample anything i want from the deli counter before making a purchase, no questions asked. Which is great when i want to try something new as it means i dont have to waste money should i not like it when i get it home.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Our meat, fruit and veg last ages and I can shop at Morisson knowing that they are dedicated to their supermarkets and not taking over the world unlike Tesco who seriously need their wings clipping

Morrision's Bakery simply puts other supermarkets to shame except Waitross as i've never shopped there so cannot comment. There meat is quality and fruit and veg well priced.Don't buy fresh fish so again cannot comment.
Last year they had boneless pork chops half price and it was the best meat i've tasted and fantastic price.Just waiting for this offer to come around again.

I shop with Morrisons for my everyday stuff and their meat and fruit is of excellent quality. However, they do not do delivery and this means I have to get my heavy stuff from Tesco. When I wrote to Morrisons asking them if they would be doing a delivery service, this is the reply I received:

    Thank you for contacting us.

Our focus is on serving customers extremely well in our stores and offering an outstanding selection of freshly prepared foods. We therefore have no plans at present to offer a home shopping service. In addition, we also feel there is insufficient customer demand at present to offer such a service cost-effectively.

    Yours faithfully

I know lots of people have said they would like home delivery so I am not sure why Morrisons have never commissioned a poll to see whether their customers would like this service. Seems very short-sighted to me!

When i worked at M, we were told that 24hour opening and home deliveries were very unlikely to happen because the Morrison Clan are really old fashioned and that they didnt see these as good for the family.

My missus works as admin manager their and whilst we get 10% discount on our shopping (up to a max of £600 discount a year) and she gets a reasonable bonus this week and they are without doubt cheap. They are a shower of !!!!!!, and it amazes me that they manage to function with some of the senior management.

Very short sighted operation, apparently they refuse to sell the 'daily sport' because of the tits, the management is allegedly full of them :rotfl:
