You will pay around 20% net max, as to whether they ask about your GF's income depends on if you are attempting to get a reduction if she has children.0

no it won't. If you go on the CSA site, you can do a calculation, I think for 2 children its 20% of your NET income.
https://secureonline.dwp.gov.uk/csa/v2/en/calculate-maintenance.asp
also depends how many nights a year you have them etc.
Should give you an idea.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0 -
nope.
20% of your net income.
do you have any children living with you? and do you have your children overnight more than 52 nights a year? as this lowers your assessment too.
i'd check your figures before going down the CSA route. if you aren't overpaying i would avoid the chimps at the csa like the plague.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0 -
How much do you think is too much by the way? I mean do you give her money and then pay extra for uniforms.trips etc and how old are the children?Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. If your girlfriend is getting child tax credits, these will be classed as income to be used in your assessment, but equally you will be classed as responsible for those children and get a reduction accordingly. If the two of you get working tax credits also, these will be classed as income if you are the higher earner or disregarded if she is the higher earner. If she works and there are no tax credits, her income will be disregarded, assuming it's a brand new case. The only exception would be if you are self-employed, your girlfriend works for your company and your ex knows this - in that case ex could apply for a variation on the grounds of diversion of income, which would be likely to be successful only if you are paying your girlfriend a massive salary whilst taking a teeny one for yourself.0

Surely that depends on individual circumstance, some would think 1p is too much, some would think £1000 day is not enough

Yes DUTR you have a point, I was just wondering if it was a set amount or if there were extras added on top, I know some PWC's will try and take the pi$$ a bit

I think we really need some more details about the situation.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0
