Looks a good price but you have to be a VIPIX Card Member to get it. This costs £14 and typically buys a 7% discount so worth it if you're going to buy a few items.
What are the advantages of DivX these days?
    Can I help?

As far as I can see you don't have to buy the card, just remove it from your basket?
This comes to £34.73 with 3-4 day delivery, doesn't seem too bad a deal.
As long as the DivX/Xvid encoder is uptodate I might buy one as my year old Divx player is struggling when playing newer films.

i have one of these, and its fab, plays almost anything u chuck at it, only down side is the USB is only 1.1, so any high quality stuff thru the USB will stutter.

but far as divx/xvid is concerned, best one out for this price :)

Thanks for that, after reading the reviews I've decided to get one to replace my Philips DivX player.
The USB sounds great too saves having to burn CDs all the time :-)

There is a thread on the £29.99 DivX player from Aldi on Grabbit.
    Heard bad things about Pixmania

    1) They charge you the same for store collection as delivery to home
    2) Warantee returns are via France and so is longer more complex costly

No personal experience but it was menstion by other MSEers your milage may vary. Also adding and removing items in your basket might not stop later charges begin applied.

The warantee on the Aldi one is 3yr and it is pickup in store. The USB on the Aldi and Tesco DivX players reportedly plays back external HD with DivX/Xvid with no stutter. Again check the thread on the £29.99 DivX player from Aldi on Grabbit.
