Full and Final Settlement with default removed?

Hello all
I seem to have gotten addicted to this site and all things concerning debt reduction. On one of my many trawls on the web I came across something concerning full and final settlements with the default removed. I know how f&f settlements are done but am curious if creditors actually ever agree to remove the default.
Anyone ever requested and succeeded in getting a settlement and the default removed as well?

Its rare for them to agree to it, but it has been known to happen. All you can do is put in the requested for default removal as a term of the F&F offer, they may or maynot agree to that term.
DCA's want a profit, if they want it enough they won't care about a default as it doesn't affect them so will remove it.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
