Woo hoo! Won the goodie bag in birthday zone daily quiz yesterday! Didn't realise until I went to enter it today and saw my name under the question. I'd better stop entering it now and give everyone else a chance
A big thank you to everyone who puts in so much time and effort into providing answers for the quizzes. I normally lurk a fair bit but always make sure I click the 'thanks' buttons. Just wanted to let you know misskool is right, there is some luck on MSE at the moment!
Cheers!0 -

 Arrgh! Nothing ever seems to work properly with my pigsback account! I signed up for the poker tournament last Wednesday after everybody else said that they'd got the points easily for it. I played in the tournament and went out pretty quickly (76th place, I think! lol), and thought that I'd get my 500 points in the next few days. I still hadn't got them by yesterday so emailed to query it, and Lynn replied today to say they didn't have a record of me playing, and so couldn't credit the points!
I suppose I just imagined the whole thing, then? So annoying!!0 -
kathfisch wrote:Yes, you can! One of the vouchers you can buy with your piggypoints is a betfair voucher (£5 or £10). Its a better rate than other vouchers, though, cos a £5 voucher is only 500 points. Its not a paper voucher though, the money is just credited to your betfair account (need to give them your betfair username) and you can withdraw it. You can withdraw by any means you have deposited with (i.e. credit or debit card) but if you've never deposited (maybe just opened the account to play piggypoker!) then I believe you will get sent a cheque for the amount. I cashed in 3500 piggypoints a few days ago and received the £35 in my betfair account today :j Easy peasy
Does this mean that
1) i can use my debit card to deposit £5 in to a betfair account
2) play for £1
3) deposit 1000 pp in to my betfair account
And then
4) Withdraw £14 directly in to my debit card (£4 balance of initial deposit plus £10 from pp

if you check your piggybank on the top right of the pigsback home page you should have a deduction for entering the tournament
mine for last night is
Register For PiggyPoint Poker
Betfair: Enter PiggyPoint Poker Tournament 2/8/2006 -100
your date should read 26/7/2006 I think that should be enough proof for pigsback ... if you don't have that on your statement then you haven't lost any points so i suggest entering again, but do so a good few hours before the start time and check that the registering fee has been deducted from your pigsback account:A0 -

I don't think you can do it that way betfair has a policy which will only allow you to withdraw back to your card the amount you have deposited the rest of the money will have to be withdrawn via cheque
you also don't need any of your betfair money to play poker you use 100piggypoints to enter
if you have a lot of time on your hands you could try matched betting to make the most out of the offer http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=164350 for this you will need to open a quidco account sign up to betfair through them deposit £25 and you get £25 free bet in your betfair account once you have bet the £25 and you also get a £25 in quidco paid to your paypal account ... this can be quite tricky but the people on that thread are very helpful:A0
