Oh wow! Thank goodnes I came on IWIWIW before I shut down my entire comp and restarted it and cursed the bloke who was supposed to have fixed it!
I've been in a blind panic for hours. Couldn't imagine why I hadn't got the hundreds of emails to my hotmail comping inbox as i usually do.
I even tried sending myself a couple of test emails from my normal email account and they haven't arrived yet.
Phew! At least I know that my computer hasn't just decided to go up the creek again. Only got the little love back last night and I'm only just getting over the trauma of being unable to participate in all things MSE for the past two weeks - yes two weeks! It's been hell!

Two weeks!!! I was in hospital for weeks last year and it was a real trauma! Know how you must have felt. As soon as I got back home, knew I was on the road to health as I had all those comper symptoms return..... dashing to the door or window when you hear a van door slam or an engine, peering down the street waiting for the postie, breathlessly excited answering your phone to an unknown number (particularly 020 numbers).... when the conversation goes something like.... 'Hello Mrs..... do you remember entering a competition for...... (replies) ....er yes vaguely ..... (trying frantically to remember)...

I'm sure we've all had conversations like that!!

I was just about to come and post "is anyone elses in unusually quiet today!?" glad I'm not the only one lol. I was thinking it was a little odd that I hadn't recieved at least 20 bits of spam today! At least then I have something to read!
