My Wedding has been double boked !!!!

Yes there was always going to be two weddings in our own funtion rooms -(which we still have seperate function rooms) but at different times so no guests would get jumbled, there would be no worries about the shared space e.t.c as we would have been a different points in the wedding.

Could either of you move your time? Even if only by an hour?
Do the other people know?
Do you want to go somewhere else?
Could you do things in a different order so you are using bits at different times?

the other couple do know and they are sending a letter from their solictor for breach of contract as they where also told that they would have their wedding at 1pm on 28th August with no other wedding until 4pm.

We looked at venue that had the same policy with 2 weddings a day. One at 12 and one at 3pm. As we are going for church wedding we would be the later arrival. I wasnt keen on being somewhere where there was another wedding, firstly because of guests getting jumbled up, but also because the hotels resources are split.

It was an extra £3500 for exclusivity. We booked elsewhere...
