It is sad to see a house like this, one can only assume the occupier did not have insurance, or else they would have paid for works to be done.
Sad.

It might make more sense for the owner to sell the wreck and use the insurance money to buy somewhere he can actually live. This will sell at auction to a builder, I guess.
Oh, just for the record, that is what we did when our house burnt down. Our buyer knocked it down and built a brand new house on the site.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
a great re-dev project for someone who is willing i suppose... but very sad... bet the neighbours are hoping its sold and made livable quick!Sealed Pot Challenge Member #881

The developer who converted that building into flats really couldn't come up with a better layout?
You wouldn't even want to use that space for storage as you couldn't get to stuff at the back without emptying the whole room out!0 -

Can you actually call it a bedroom? You would probably struggle to get even a single bed in!
As for the first house - what about knocking it down and rebuilding. The land would cost more than that!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
There's quite a few more rooms in the dimensions list as there are in the details??partlydave wrote: »Talking of sharing RM properties check out the 3rd bedroom size. It must be for the tallest but thinnest person ever

Wow - this would sell well at auction though. Would have thought the land would be worth more than 5k - but there you go. I really feel for the owners - hoping that they did survive the fire itself. Thats awful.0

There is a 'walk in store' in the description. I guess that strange room must be it - an unused corridor that they put a door on0
