I went bankrupt on 3/06/09 and have now received a letter from the OR for an up to date valuation of the property from an independant valuer or agent. Can i get valuations from a local estate agent, do i need more than 1, should i tell them i have been declared bankrupt. At the time of the bankruptcy the property was in negative equity and remains so. My wife is prepared to buy the BI if she is allowed to buy the BI does this mean the OR and my creditors have no further claim on the property. Sorry for all the questions obviously want to keep the house if possible any advice apprecciated.
Many Thanks

Hi roger.
Get a valuation from a local agent. Do not mention your BR to them. Tell them you want a realistic valuation for sale. Send this to the OR. Some ORs ask for two valuations if there is a large amount at stake for BI.
Good luck sizzler:)0
