Hi guys I was wondering if I could get some advice on the following issue(sorry if this is the wrong forum for it
).
I am a nanny and I love my job, however it can be very lonely especially looking after a 6month old. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to go about meeting other nannies for playdates and also for adult company. Most of my friends work during the day so I am on my own and althought I wouldn't change my job for the world it has began to get me down.
If anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them.

Maybe go to mother and baby groups in the area? These often also have nannies and childminders, not just mums. There are also things like music and baby signing classes available in some areas. Ask your employer if they would like their child to be involved in these things as they are very good for child development as well :-) Just make it clear what the benefits are for the child.0

Hi
yes, I met people through netmums when I moved to a new area. Other ideas as already said are toddler groups, music groups etc.
There are also those meet-up groups. Don't know if they are nationwide. They have them in Glasgow. They had some for Mums with kids. Look on the net.
