I'm desperate

I have recently graduated from University with a lot of debt. Although my student loan is being repaid as I qualified as a teacher I racked up a lot of credit card debt. How can I get out of this? There seems to be no way. My bank will not increase my overdraft or offer a loan to consolidate this mess and no one else will seem to touch me with a barge pole. I just need a way of consolidating it to get my head above water to deal with it properly. Many thanks.

Hi Josh and welcome. If you look at the sticky thread 'first time posters' you will find a template to do a Statement Of Affairs (SOA) try to fill as much information as possible so that you can get the best advice possible and post it on this thread. Dont panic - everything can be sorted. It will take hard work and sacrifice but we are all here to support you with advice. All the best

Congratulations on graduating - as you're a teacher, have you got a job lined up?
Maybe you could do a bit of personal tutoring to bring some cash in while you wait for the new term to start? What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160
