                    Hi Folks,
Just received my early discharge (hurrah!), swiftly followed by a letter stating my OR is applying for release as my trustee, along with a list of fees.
A couple of questions: Am I liable for these fees at all? If my OR is released does this give my creidtors free reign to start harrassing me again?
I have an IPA in place, however after it started my circumstances changed and I am no longer working. So my OR is not currently receiving payments from me (via Moonbeaver) and the list of fees is owing.
If anyone has any ideas or information about how this works, it would be gratefully received!
Thanks

            Hi
I have received the letter about release from trustee.
I believe that the fees are not for you to pay...what fees did he say?
Did you receive your ED letter 1st then? What did it say? How long have you been BKO?0

 Hi Matt,
Yes received my ED first (by a day!) and was bankrupt in Sept 2009. The fees were broken down into various charges - IPA, cash in bank etc minus what had been received for IPA, petition fees plus BR admin fees, agents fees and VAT. All this left a balance due to OR, but didn't indicate who had to pay this....0

Oh right sounds like your breakdown was slightly different to mine...all that was on mine was what my creditor pay for me to go BKO (thats the way I read it). I havent got an IPA.
I would be very suprised if it was for you to pay.....this letter goes to your creditors to. I would just perhaps email the OR office just to check but think it come back as you have nothing to pay other than your ongoing IPA.
 Good luck0

Hi Maybe, this is the balance left to the OR, you do not have to pay this, if any assets are yet to be realised then the money from them goes to pay this. The Majority of bankruptcies are not fully pid for by themselves. You only pay a deposit at the start and one of the reasons these are going up it that the balance that are not paid come from charges on the the bigger assets such as houses in a minority of cases, which have been down in recent years
