Hello!
The 1 million crash flash card dropped out of the magazine I was reading too. It appears I got a similar result to Glazer FC - 2 lemons and 3 crabs (; (lily15 and daisy15)
Probably some booby prize (mp3 player, five pounds...)
But can anybody verify it?0 -
I had 2 of those tickets, both with 2 lemons and 3 crabs - obviously poo prizes!2008 wins £4405 2009 wins £7194 2010 wins £9615
Best wins ever: Laptop, £1000 John Lewis vouchers, PS3, Xbox 360 iPad Mini :beer:0 -

I am not taking the mickey out of you, I just noticed that you made a joke without probably realising it and it made me chuckle. A Mini Copper would be a much better win than a Mini Cooper. I'm not suggesting that this is the case but years ago my son won a pc from a scratch card where he had to ring a premium rate line to find out what he had won.
It turned out that the "prize" was a reconditioned pc and they wanted £100 for delivery!

So I found exactly the same combination on the scratch card that came with one of the TV magazines: 3 crabs in one of the 4 boxes and 2 lemons in another. Incredulous to be so lucky I suspected a snag and decided to Google, which is how I ended up here. The very fact that more people here have reported exactly the same combi makes me suspect even more there's something wrong. However, I can't work out what it is!
The T&C's explicitly say: 3 Identical Symbols = Cash Payout.
It then lists 12 cash prizes, the minimum of which is 10 pounds. The 6 text messages that you have to send in to obtain a claim code, will cost 9 pounds in total. In other words, there should be a minimum gain for me of 1 pound. Given that I have not paid for this scratch card would that not automatically mean a 1 pound loss for Purely Creative? Surely only people with 3 symbols will phone/text. How can they ever award 1 million cash prizes if there (seemingly) is no probability of people losing money? How can these guys make money?
PurelyCreative does have a website with plenty of photos of alleged winners and somehow that comes across as genuine.

Any thoughts?0 -
As I too have crabs (and lemons) I looked hard at the card..
Look closely at the card...Does one of the crabs have a line through it??
Please post back. My left crab has a very faint line drawn through it.
Could be that not identical so no payout....in which case dirty theiving b*****ds0 -
Hi,
Tnx for your comment. No, there's no line. Your line is probably an artefact of the scratching so I think your theory is a little far-fetched. The word 'CRAB' is under the symbols so that also indicates the similarity.
Still no clue how this scam works....
With more crabs and lemons coming in I'm definitely not going to spend 9 Pounds.
Although it would probably give me a quicker answer than here :rotfl:0
