I've never and will never call a number to see what I've won; I've won or I haven't and if you need to pay for it, it will cost less than the call thats a fact. Sad state of affairs all this junk mail these days.

Ah, now that's a common mistake.

The reason you get the Sky Magazine is that you pay for it if you have Sky. It's part of your contract and it costs you around 1p a year and you have no choice over it if you want Sky. But this allows two things:

1 Sky gets to claim they have the biggest circulation of any TV guide as technically, you do pay for it. Right - you don't care ... But advertisers do, and Sky do.

2 Sky uses the magazine as the primary way in which they talk to customers. It is the first place that price rises, package changes and special offers are published, without exception.

Now it is a pile of poo as a listings mag, and actually makes you appreciate the menu on the box, and I would rather that all that paper was not wasted on it. But you should look through it. If there are ever offers, you may miss them and you are warned in advance of price rises, so you don't have to wait until you get your bill.

Great idea about the claim info website op, but wouldnt this run up a gigantic phone bill for you and cost users nothing at your expense?

Just concerned as I learnt the hard way many years ago on these ticket things and othre similar scams!

i was all excited until i read that pete14 and adam 14 seem to be recurring!!! i was seriously excited but i'll prob end up with tat! it does say that for matching three pics the prizes range from 1 million to £250 so wouldnt be too bad but really dont want to be stung!!!

It's usually the holiday you get, as their normally for 1 person you you end up paying for one or more tickets for other to join you.

I also love the idea of the site, but i am too worried that you'll end up out of pocket. I don't think that anyone ever wins the big prizes i think its all scam for them to make money!
