Chaps, any advice is appreciated. Since my bankruptcy I’ve been using my partner’s bank account and the insolvency examiner wants copies of their bank statements. I was more than happy to provide this but my other half has said that because she also uses the account the insolvency service is in no shape or form getting to see her bank statements. This clearly isn’t me not cooperating but how will this look on me from the examiners point of view, my particular examiner has been a nightmare to deal with so far and I’m being treated very poorly and rudely. Any advice?? Cheers

The OR can ask for details f any information pertaining to your finances. if she refuses the examiner may drop it but they do have the power to privately examine her in court if they wish. They do not have the right to her information. Perhaps a halfway house is to redact her statements (ie to blank out anything that does not refer to you) and send them like thisHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0
