Top Spin 2 - Xbox 360 £17.99

play.com have reduced the price of Top Spin 2 from £39.99 to £17.99 as part of their sale.

The sale now has final reductions on items but it doesnt say when it ends so I have placed my order as it is a decent game

"If your delivery address is outside of Jersey, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; Play.com advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information."

Has anyone experienced any problem in the past?is it ok to order this?

    thanx

Been ordering items from play.com for about 3 years and never been charged any import duties even ordered the michael palin boxset for £70 and it was sent recorded delivery and no extra charges

I would be very surprised if you get charged

    Is the game anygood?????

I too have ordered stuff from play.com and have never had any problems. I assumed that the price you paid included the customs charges. I have order dear items too from them with no problems ie Headphones 150quid and Logitech top of the range kb/mouse for 100 quid both arrived no prob.

The one that people seem to worry over the customs charges is PlayAsia.com where it seems hit or miss whether you will be charged or not (more often not).
    Grocery Challenge 2008
    Jan £103.17/£180, Feb £47.06/£120
    £10 per day Challenge 2008
Jan 08 £17.64/£140 (Late start and lost the plot!!!)

I have seen reviews that gave it 8 out of 10 and have also played the demo on this months official xbox 360 magazine and enjoyed the game, it plays a bit like the smash court tennis series and for £18 it's seems a bargain

I am put off by playasia as I have only ordered off them twice and been hit with customs charges on both occassions so would probably not buy anything from them anymore as I can't be bothered getting a card through the door saying I have to pay import costs and collect my parcel from the depot

Table Tennis on the 360 is also £17.99 inc. P&P at play.com.

It's a great game, and very addictive!

Think my order has been posted

I would check back on the site as sometimes they get them back in at the cheap price like Amped 3 sold out when they reduced it then a couple of days later it was back in stock at the reduced price
