Selling Photos via own website

Hi All,
I've done some research on this, and even read the thread here at MSE regarding selling photos online.
I have my own website, and all I am looking for is a free shopping cart (design for photos) or a link with an affiliate such as Photobox or some other high-quality printers whom I can use to print my images upon receiving an order.
I have signed up to Alamy and am in the process of using them for a bit of exposure, but also want to utilise my own website.
Many thanks!
Amnesia

Hi Amnesia,
If you're using a CMS (Content Management System) for your site, there's usually a free plugin for the shopping cart.
This can be for Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, etc.
One thing you have to bear in mind is security - they may not be the most secure.
Free shopping cart is one thing, but you don't want your client's credit card details being stolen.

I do not know other ways to sell photos
But while I was at university I opened my own online store at bigcartel.com
and sold digital images on there.
It never cost anything to set up. It doesn't take long.
I only sold 2 or 3 a week for about £5-10 each
but it was low maintenance.
There are probably better ways to do it. Like I said I just did this, as I knew no other waysCurrent Debt (8th March) = [STRIKE]£940 £910 725 104[/STRIKE] + £290
Debt free within 3 weeks. Thanks up your income forum.0 -

Jalbum is brilliant and there is a skin that you can implement a shopping cart into I think.. http://jalbum.net/

Photobox have a section where you can upload prints to sell so you could provide a link to your pages on there. You get to set the profit % and sizes available to buy.0
