I bought my boyfriend a half price easter egg (99p!) ... felt very proud of myself for cheapness (seeing as his one last year was a whopping £10!)
It has been sitting under my desk at work for a week so he couldnt get his hands on it at home...
I just succumed to the chocolate & ate the whole thing.
:D:D
Just wanted to share.... (share the news, not the chocolate)!!! :rotfl:
I now have to spend ANOTHER 99p on getting another one!!!
Not very MSE!!!

I think you were just testing to make sure it tasted ok. You never know once it's in the sale.
Now you've made completely sure it's ok you can buy a replacement
You were just being kind really!:D0 -

2 x £0.99 is still miles better than last years £10 (note, this is not an excuse to buy and eat another 3 or 4!)start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Year before last (or the year before that), my wife and I would happily tuck into the kiddies' Easter eggs. It was just to help them out, I hope you understand, they had far too many!!
Anyhow, we’d have our ‘feast’ quite late in the evenings. Someone got their own back though – I ended up off work for a week with severe (and I mean severe) chest and back pains. Thought at first it was a heart attack, then one of those blood clots on my lungs. The hospital diagnosed it as excess acid.
Went to the doctors’ the following week as was in so much pain (and getting about one hours sleep a night). The doctor looked at it being shingles, gall bladder, bone damage – had loads of X-rays.
In the end, after loads of Googling, found out it was acid reflux – caused by an excess of cheap chocolate! Stopped eating the chocolate – the pain stopped.
Hope you enjoyed the egg, btw.
