Hi
long story will try to keep it short. Moorcroft are chasing two accounts for Natwest one is a credit card the other a bank account.
Have issued Moorcroft with a CCA request (credit card) and SAR (bank account) also issued a SAR for the credit card. They requested proof of id so sent council tax bill (no signature) when they did not send any of the above i issued them with disputed debt letters for the above accounts and also sent them a letter telling them in future no contact can be made by telephone only by letter.
have not heard anything from them for several months now had a telephone call from someone who said they were from MDR and its a personal matter. On checking internet found out MDR are Moorcroft Debt Recovery so what do i do now is tthere a letter i can send to Moorcroft???. Will not be speaking to them on the telephone or ringing them back but need some advice on next step please

Hi
Did you use the template letter on the forum about the telephone calls?
There is a thread Unenforcability & template letters.
Post No 7 has all hte template letters you need.
13.5 is the one to send if you have already sent the telephone harrasment letter.
Remember to print you name, not sign & send the letter recorded delivery as proof that you posted it.
Good luck.LBM:FEB 2008
