yorkshire pud dilemma

hi folks making a luverly sausage casserole for tea and i want to make some yorkie puds..............well would sooner use frozen but run out.anyway quite confident about makin them from scratch but i havent got a yorkshire pudding tin could i use a baking tray or pyrex ?
any ideas would be great

    do you have a small-ish oven proof dish that you could use and just make large yorkie puds?

    do you mean like a pudding bowl? or ive got a metal casserole dish?do y recon that would work?

    I sometimes do big ones in a non-stick cake tin. still put lard in though, get it smokey hot then add mixture. Cook in hot oven until crisp and golden.

    got cake tins but only ones with push out bottoms is that the kind you mean?

    You could use a patty cake tin to make small ones. (The sort you use for fairy cakes or muffins)

    Or a roasting tin to make 1 large one which you can slice up. (The sort you cook the turkey in)

    Just adding a picture of the first yorkies I made cos I think they are fab. ;)

    disaster totally flat couldnt give it any longer as it was starting to burn!!!!
    must be hereditary mum always made yorkshire biscuits when i was a kid! strangley once she got to about 40 they were loads better and hers are great now!
    if they take that much practise im givin up!
