85% LTV deals

I have fished around moneysupermarket and found a new britannia deal at 85% LTV for a 2 yr fix at 4.49% - I thought that was quite good.

This is a 180k house moving mortage , and I will be putting down 27k. leaving a mortgage on 153k at 85% LTV

I already have a mortgage with hsbc and they were not giving me another.

My income pa is 82k

My question:- is there a better deal than this out there.

• £999 Arrangement Fee, includes non-refundable booking fee of £150
• Early repayment charges apply until 30/06/2012
• Cost of first standard valuation and solicitors' costs, including compulsory disbursements paid by Britannia

with a high ltv, maybe you should be thinking of a longer fix...you have to think/guess what will be available for rmtg in 2 yrs..and svr of 4.49% is likely to be higher

they have phoned saying they wont lend to me because I have a second property unless I put down 75% LTV (45k)

Now I really need help !
