Good evening everyone,
I have in the past had a credit history that is not to good, I have a ccj for £600 that is nearly paid off and soon will be in a position with my new partner to purchase a home, but I need some sound advice on how to go forward from here.
I wish to purchased a home of a value of £70k to £80k and we will have a £40k deposit, my new partner is not working and I earn approx £20k per annum, is it viable for me to approach my own bank and ask or will I have to take another route, and does anyone have any rough idea on what interest rate I should exspect to pay. I would prefer a 2 year fixed repayment mortgage to start off with.
Thanks in advance
