I was on hear last year saying that Welcome Finance had said that they mis-sold my loan agreement with PPI on without my knowledge.
Now today I thought everything was sorted as I have been making payments as of the new loan agreement that I signed that now has not the PPI. About half an hour ago I got a phone call from Welcome Finance in house debt collecting agency saying that they want the full amount of the loan.
When I asked about this I told them what had happened and they didn't believe me until I gave them the old account number and then passed to them the new account number. Hopefully The woman was listening and is hopefully going to say what she was going to do.
I got in touch with Welcome Finance and found out that they have not closed the old account at head office that is now not suppose to be open as it was suppose to be closed in January of this year.
What I am looking for is some info on how to go about this. Tomorrow I will be getting in touch with the FSA who is holding my compliant about my PPI and I will be telling them about this major cockup.
Any other information would be grateful.
