One Account facility review.

Just had a call from the One Account trying to convince me that I should reduce the size of the facility that I have with them.
What are they doing this?
The answer is simple they must have the funds available to cover any withdrawals that would take you to the full value of the facility. This has a cost associated with it as if they don't have enough money on hand they must secure it with another bank.
So seeing as how my Loan To Value already has me on the lowest interest band I could see no reason to reduce my facility further just to help the One account who have treated us so badly over recent years.
My response to them was ... " You are not calling to review my facility for my benefit as reducing it will not offer me any financial benefit such as reduced interest rates. You are calling for the benefit of the Royal Bank of Scotland who want to reduce their liabilities for their own benefit. I have no interest in reducing my facility for the benefit of the bank when they felt it was OK to extract more interest from their customers during a time of recession where interest rates were falling, to try and cover your poor business decisions. Such treatment means I have no intention of doing anything that will help the bank thank you."
Make sure they know that we are on to them and that treating us the way they did means we have no desire to help them now.
