Stained football shirt

Options
I knew it was a bad idea to let DD wear her NEW England shirt for a BBQ on Saturday but she was desperate to  Anyway there are mysterious stains down the front  She was rolling around on the floor and stuffing her face with all sorts so I washed it through that night in her bath to get the worst out but there are still marks all down the front. I've put it through the washing machine with SP soap powder but it's still marked. Tried Stardrops but no joy. Any other ideas? BTW the label says "DO NOT SOAK"

Hi what sort of material is the shirt made of ? I had / have a tea stain on
one of my white teashirts ( not a football shirt ) i was coughing and spluttering and drinking tea at the same time so you can imagine the mess i made on my teashirt. Tried Stardrops but no good stains still there. I bought some oxyclen and am going to try that today. Just wondered what material your shirt is made of, so i could see if its ok to use oxyclen. If it works on my
material/stain. .......... phweew gotta have a lye down now after all that.

The material is mostly polyester as far as I can remember (it's been religated to the bottom of the wash basket :o ). Will check out some oxiclean or something similar next time I'm out ;)

I used Vanish pre-wash spray on one of my sons shirts. I dread tham getting stained because there's no way I'm paying for new ones before they change!
I suggest anything you try test on a small bit (like the inside of the bottom seam) first.
