advice about littlewoods

Great news guys all but 2 of our creditors have accepted our DMP :j apart from littlewoods & the lloyds overdraft, even though the credit card has accepted. These 2 are the lowest amounts we owe, littlewoods being £140 & lloyds being £800.

I know its not normally allowed in the DMP but just looking for advice off people who have done it. My partner is getting a £1000 yearly bonus in April & as we have a baby of the way it is being used for various bits we need but as littlewoods is only £140 what would happen if i just paid it off? i know payplan wont like it but as a few of you know i havent had the best time with payplan so im trying to keep on top of everything xx

Littlewoods and LTSB are always slow but do get there in the end.

It might be a better use of £1000 to hit one of the bigger debts with say a 30% full and final settlement deal - perhaps one that has been passed to a debt collection agency. But it's your call. You're right that Payplan can't be seen to condone it.

    There's always CCCS....
  • will they kick me off the DMP if i pay it? we plan to spend £300 on baby bits as we need a double buggy Ouch!! so there will be £700 left ? thanks for the advice x
