Hi,
I am hoping you wonderful people will point me in the right direction. I normally frequent other parts of the site (mainly lurking, occassionally posting).
I have a friend who is in deep trouble and as much as I don't want to be invovled in the resolution of their situation I need to know where to point them before they commit to something silly. They have Mortgage arrears and CC debt that I know of.
Thank you,
T

These are the recomended people Teresa.
Tell your friend never to pay a commercial company for debt advice. Better to save the money and get much better and impartial advice from the guys in that link.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
One of the free debt charities would be the first place of contact - either CCCS, PayPlan or National Debt Line to sort out practicalities.
And of course there's always a lot of good folks here willing to give moral support and fab advice.0 -
Thank you both so much that is exactly what I was looking for.
