I looked at this website & found some Kodak Cartridges at an excellent price which I thought too good to be true. I phoned them to check they were new & not refilled cartridges & was told they were not Kodak but compatible ones.

I explained that the picture shows actual Kodak cartridges but they just told me they were compatible & didn't seem bothered that the picture was a misrepresentation.

    I won't be buying!!!!!!

Ordered Tuesday, Postie left card yesterday, picked up today!

Well happy, thanks OP. I've recently bought new inks from Tesco as mine had run out so these will be stored for a while. Be interesting to see what the quality's like :)
The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

I'm afraid I've tried a couple of "compatible" inks in my Epson photo stylus with the result that it no longer gives a good coloured print so I have ruined it! Learned my lesson and won't use cheap inks again.

Any one any idea where to get Lexmark 14 and 15 from cheap? I can't get below £15 each? I'm sure Currys told me it was one of the cheapest when I bought the printer! Doh!

I was told the same and have the same problrm finding cheap ink too.

Sometimes its cheper but not very environmentally friendlt for me to get a new printer, depending whats on offer.

Try ijtdirect.co.uk and use the codeMAS32 to get half price offer. I,ve ordered some lexmark 16 remanufactured but have,nt got them yet so don,t know what the quality is like. postage is additional at £1.99 so makes them marginally the cheapest I've found so far
    Awaiting a new sig

That sounds bad - have you tried putting original Epson carts back in? I hadn't thought of long term damage - was only worried about possible poor photo quality with cheaper carts.

Ordered some Epson-compatible cartridges from Buytech on Thursday - £3.14 for four (two colour, two black), including free postage. Arrived on Friday. Brilliant!

Can't see how they are making any money though... postage alone must have cost around £2!

Thanks to whoever first spotted the deal.
  • Thanks a lot op. £5.45 for a full set delivered for me.
