Hi
Thanks to everyone for their help so far.
Im just started to look for a dress and followed a link on here for one wedding - as I have no idea what designers, web sites to look for.

I came across a really gorgoeus dress on there that would really suit me .I want something to cover my shoulders and nothing strapless- as graviety has had its way with my bust area.

I found this dress called "Ava" by Angeliana Colarusso ( seems posh ) however its totally way out my budget.
Does anyone know who sells dresses in this style ,or where I can find something similar very much cheaper .
Im not even sure what style of dress this would be called.

Would it even be possible to hire something like this ?

Many thanks x .

Size 10 and offers around £2000! (bit of a cheeky ask really, I'd offer much lower to start)

I fell in love with this dress too - even spoke with the lady who works with the designer who quoted me £3k plus (inc 2 fittings!!). I've gone for something completely different, but why not have a look at Landy or Milly if you have a very tight budget? I also loved this one http://www.landybridal.com/Product/Pro3296.Html but in ivory - it looks kinda like the same crinkly material as the Ava one. It was going to be my back up if I couldnt get the one i wanted (but I did!)
    Hels x

Oh wow you managed to find it FRANNYANN .
Im 5ft 8 so this would be perfect but definately could not afford £2000 :(Mind you I have a bigger bust than her as well so probably wouldnt fit.

I really dont have much money maybe scrape up to £1000, as I have to bring the wedding forward a year at the last minute .

Im probably dreaming that I could find a dress similar for this price.
I read on hear about Milly but they seem to get mixed reviews ?

mshelsbels- thanks for the link but I would have to have it in white or ivory .Really glad you got a dress to suit you .

    Thanks a lot FRANNYANN.
I liked the last one too- at £350 thats a good price.
I will email the size 10 Ava dress and see if she will come and go with the price.

Im a size 10 -12 , I should probably have said that. I havent tried on any wedding dresses so I suppose the sizing could vary .
This also gives me another web site to look through.
You have put a lot of effort in so thanks very much x .

No problem, most dresses will have room to alter slightly, and as sizes all vary worth asking for measurements rather than dress sizes when you enquire about them! Good luck!
