I have been in the UK for the last two years on a Tier 1 visa which expires in Aug 2011. i am planning to get it extended and become a permananet resident. Now when i am applying for mortage most banks are turning down my application cos of my visa....:(
Is there any work around for this or should i wait for Aug 2011 for buying a house?
Cheers,
