Am a bit confused i got a credit report from experian last year it said i have one default dating back to dec2004 which was satisfied
I got a credit report and score from Equifax last week which says i dont have any defaults and my credit score is good at 438 does this mean my default is now up and will this make it more of a better chance getting a mortgage with a main high street lender?

There's more to consider than just your credit report. All lenders will have their own system of scoring your mortgage application.0
