I just got feedback and low dsr mark moaning about p&p because i used black bags, wheres the crime they aren't free!
How else would you send a 70cm teddy bear? They paid £3.20 when it cost me £4.10. Plus not just one but two black bags lol
Need a vent and 1 question, would you prefer cheap black bags and cheap p&p costs or pay more on p&p for a postal sack?
I know i would prefer the cheap option as a buyer but maybe i'm in the minority?

I'd prefer a rubble sack or something a bit thicker than a black bag.
Only reason is that they split so easy, if the postie doesn't notice, or it's raining or something then the teddy gets wet, and they're a nightmare to dry
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

They were 2 thick ones, from her attitude i wish i'd used xmas wrapping paper :rotfl:0

I often use strong black bags as outer packaging- especially if it's an item that could be damaged by getting wet in the rain."I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0

I used to use "bags for Life" turned inside out. They were good and sturdy.0

Depends on the black bag. All black bags aren't equal. As long as its not a used BB and strong enough for the job can't see the problem.TurkishDelight wrote: »I'd prefer a rubble sack or something a bit thicker than a black bag.

I use strong black bags too on top of bubble wrap,
The only complaint i have ever had is that an item smelt of smoke (non smoker) upon smelling the bags there was a smell of smoke on them.0 -
I wouldn't mind.... seems a bit of a silly thing to complain about if you ask me...so long as the item arrives safe and sound and undamaged then you've kept your part of the bargain?
There's no pleasing some people... I just think you were unlucky - I think most people would be ok with this... I appreciate what people are saying regarding the super thin poundshop-esq liners though...0 -

) that someone else has had this problem, I've had those & thought I was going mad
I was accusing everyone in my house of smoking on the QT till I finally discovered it was actually the bags themselves
EDIT ... sorry, that wasn't very clear
what I meant was that I had a roll of new bin bags that smelled like an ashtray but it took me ages to figure out where the smell was actually coming from0 -

Are you sure it was cigarrette smoke, l only say that as l have noticed before now how some black bags have a smokey smell to them, and these are new and still on the roll.0 -
in my case there never was any cigarette smoke, it smelled as if someone had been emptying ashtrays into my bin, & it was driving me madpaulofessex wrote: »Are you sure it was cigarrette smoke, l only say that as l have noticed before now how some black bags have a smokey smell to them, and these are new and still on the roll.
I eventually traced it to a fresh roll of bin bags, they came from Poundland, so next time I was in I had a sniff & sure enough they all smelled like an ashtray0
