Just getting a wee word in before the day is out! "a" (groan!)
I'll go back and catch up on everthing I've missed now. This being back a work malarky sure is getting in the way of my forum time!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Hi Tixy, I've only ever once taken a kitten from someone, the other 20 or so cats / kittens over the last 50 years have iether found me or been rescued. I have all the scars to prove it!. The terrier thinks she's a cat, the Cat thinks she's a Dog. Great isnt it!
Thanks for the advice, In all my postings since I joined I have only had one post where someone got a bit heavy, it was funny that when I went back a little later the post / thread had dissapeard? I am with the Help and support party, It is not for me to judge, yes there are times when you wonder about peoples motives? but there are some stories that are heart rending stories, people with mental health issues Etc. If all we can do is offer an ear to listen and a kind word, then shurely we can make a difference. I know I was there not so long ago!.

I wondered how you would cope now you are back at work - it will need quite a bit of adjusting in many ways - take care that you are getting enough rest though Niccahandyman123 wrote: »here is a picy of my young terrier and our feral cat, Shadow.

I agree, you forget that not everyone is like us!! Seriously, I have been 'in contact' with an insensitive moron tonight and I was worried that he might scare off the worried poster but everything OK now. We all know what it is to be down at the bottom of the pit and can sympathise with others. It hurts sometimes when some pratts seem to enjoy mixing it for fun. Rant over
Will be going to bed soon so I will say goodnight now Niddy and Nicca (I think you are the only ones still awake) Hope you have a good night trollzapping NiddyMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Night 3dogs. Night Niddy. I'm not going to be a happy bunny in the morning! (I'm never happy when I have to wake up and move but I feel I will be a tired, grumpy bear tomorrow and I will also be sore from copying all Handyman's "yoga" moves this evening!)
You might need to place a curfew on me!
Sleep tight! ZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzJan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
Welcome to the debt free wannabe board. A great place for seeking advice and inspiration and support on getting out of debt. Please read the above in case you come across one of the very few trolls or more frequent spammers that come our way.
Please join in and bump Fred to page one if he is found lost and wandering - Thank you :j
