Oh dear Tixy:(:(. Thing is, if you waste your time on here - that's your choice. If someone else wastes your time, that's something else and you're entitled to be annoyed - soon be home time.:)

Half way down page 2, tut tut tut!

Evening all, handyman here. Well I finished making Lord Hoorays ramp for his wheelchair. :j It's like a take off ramp for a Harrier Jump Jet. Lady Hooray says it looks ugly, her guests will have to walk up and down it to get to her cocktail parties. The Rt Hon Eddy Littleweath has just turned up for drinks. He will have a 1/2 pint G&T and 2 bottles of wine and drive home.
His car has no Tax and Test, I hope plod gets him.

Anyway I will have to go now as I have to get the port from the wine celler.:mad: (this is the only sort of whine I get).

Hi all, this one is for 3 Dogs, remember we were talking about the mueseum at Duxford, I remembered an incident the last time I was there.

I had to escort a group of cadets from Northolt, the powers that be decided we had to go in uniform, I allways preffered incognito as the old saluting arm used to get tired.

When we got there there were another 300 cadets from an international air camp at the Airforce Colledge Cranwell.


If I returned one salute it was hundreds. A lot of these cadets were from public schools. (trainee Hoorays) As I aproached on group I heared them discussing wether or not to salute, when they didnt I roasted them for a full minute in my best Sargent Majors voice.

Later I was sat at a kiosk having a well earned cuppa and a fag, Over came a Squadron Leader, and 2 Pilot officers. I learned that they were Headmaster and teachers from the schools whos cadets didnt know how to Salute (If you are Headmaster or Vicar you are automatically granted the rank of Sqn Ldr).

I told them I had reason to have words with there charges to which the Plt Off with buck teeth said Thoopa they wont lithen to me Thoopa.

As they were leaving this chap turned round and collided with a toddler who had both hands full of melting choc ice, as well as a choclate brow face. She put both arms around his leg and slowly slid down, cleaning the choclate from her face as she went.

I nearly choked on my cuppa, thankyou God!

Handyman, I think I'd happily be stuck in a lift with you. I'm sure you've hundreds more stories you can share regarding the Hoorays, cadets and goodness only knows what else! I could listen to/read them all day .
