Hi, have you read this thread? Someone asked a similar question, see my post no. 31 on the thread for some info:

Secondly, always check out this board daily, especially the Daily Newpaper thread (nothing today but last week the Daily Mail had 2 days in a row where there were coupons off some magazines totalling £1.50 to £2). As the Daily Mail costs only 45p, when you see a post like that go and buy ten copies, make sure you use the coupons up quickly as they are usually only valid for a week or so!
When on MSE, also try regularly typing in 'coupon' or 'voucher' in the Chat Forum search (above) to make sure you haven't missed any new posts. Separately type 'coupons' or 'vouchers' to find other general posts like the link above. I find with this site you will get different results by searching with/without plurals or with/without capital letter initials (e.g. Newspaper would find different threads than newspaper...!).

Yes - I've tried a few with success. Incidentally never does any harm writing to companies and asking for vouchers or praising them. Only the cost of a [STRIKE]stamp[/STRIKE] email :rotfl:

It can also be worthwhile setting up an extra email account and make enquiries with manufacturers. Use the email account becuase the more you mail the more vouchers you will get. I got £5.15 in the post yesterday!!!

Somerfield Free Mag this months has loads...they self scan at Tesco..I saved £8 today.0

What do you usually say in the email and where is a good place to look for email addresses for people?0

A good start is looking through the Tesco shopping site. As you know there are 1000's of items on there. This gives you an idea of what companies sell etc.....no point writing to Walls saying you like their Mars Bars :rotfl:
Then you can either moan or praise them. The chances are you'll get the same result either way. Personally I think it is nicer to write a 'nice' letter rather than 'slag' them off. Usually it goes something like:
Dear Sirs,
Just had to write to thankyou for what is probably the nicest Mince Pie I've had in years. It never ceases to amaze me the perfection of some of your products especially as you deal in such high volume.
I am certainly a customer of yours for years to come.

Bit of advice please. As you know there are a number of sites that appear in this post that have printable coupons. However when you hand them in at the till they look like photo copies. Okay for self scanning but some till assistants turn their nose up. I was thinking of buying some paper that makes it look more original - like thin glossy paper. As you all know there is nothing wrong with these coupons otherwise the manufacturers wouldn't register them on the website in the beginning but it might save embarassment. Does anybody else do this??
Cheers
Stebiz
Incidentally in relation to my above post. Received another £6 of coupons today through the post. I seem to be awash with them at the moment.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
