Anyone entered comps and not receive their prize?

I entered a competition and won, as it finished in April I should have the prize by now but as you can tell by the thread title I haven't. It was the Sun newspaper, I have emailed them but to no avail so I emailed the ASA (advertising standards agency) yesterday but have yet to hear anything, well it's only been a day!! Out of principle(and the fact my dvd player is on the blink) I refuse to accept defeat and let my prize fall by the wayside, does anyone have any tips or ideas or, indeed, experience of this with the Sun or any other company. Have they not replied to your e-mails at all? Ring them. It'll probably be a PR company dealing with the actual sending out of the prize. You should have received it by now though, obviously.

I won a cd from Radio 2's Big Quiz. It was supposed to come with my Fendr Strat guitar that I won. The cd never came:( I emailed Radio 2 but they never replied. I guess they thought, "well we've just given you a £300 guitar !!!!!!!"

More recently, I won a holiday Inn prize. It said allow 28 days for delivery, but it hasn't turned up yet. I'm on the case now

Annie do you know if the guitar was sent from the BBC, or did it come straight from another company?

I won the booby prizes on the big quiz a few years ago and had some prizes sent staggered over 4 months, they just kept coming, dont know how or why??

It came direct from another company I think. Not 100% sure though.

I won a weekend in Edinburgh with flights and 3 nights at the Hilton Hotel but just before departure (when the hotel, flights and theatre seats were already booked) they cancelled it saying it was a mistake. Theres a whole thread about it somewhere.

My boyfriend won 2 tickets to IMEX over a year ago and still hasn't got anything.

Some of them do take a while to arrive but if you havn't heard anything in a few weeks keep chasing them.

Yes that's what I would have thought, and I expect the programme team were going to send the CD directly to you. Maybe they forgot or it got lost in the post. Which address did you send your e-mail to?

I emailed them directly through the Radio 2 website. It was nearly a year ago now. I never really wanted the cd anyway, I was going to give it to my mum.

Ah fair enough. I expect the e-mail didn't get to the people actually working on the programme.
