Kitchen drawers lining...

Options
I want to do a major clearout of my kitchen, with the aim of using up all the half packets, end bits etc. I also want to replace the lining in the drawers as it looks well past its original cleanliness... :o

Just when I was thinking of going to look for them in the shops, I was clearing out some carrier bags and the idea hit me to cut them to size and make do with these, however I would appreciate better suggestions...:)
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

I use gift wrapping paper. Less frugal than wallpaper but there are lots to choose among. I find it easier to handle.

might sound strange but for my kitchen drawers I use tea towels - just bung them in the wash every few months. For other drawers around the house I use cheap giftwrap.

I second that with an amendment, I tend to get the bathroom or kitchen version, that way it's wipe clean.

Do you ask for samples in the DIY stores with the story that your re-decorating?

Sorry just realised that sounds a bit rude and short. I was only asking as when we decorated my room about 7 years ago we got wall paper samples from Homebase to see what would work best and they would have been ideal and free!

hehe, don't worry, it didn't sound too short.

I didn't ask for samples. The thing is with the wipe clean vinyls, there are so many with very unfashionable patterns now that my local DIY store always tends to have the odd roll for 50p.
