Ex can't get a loan because of my debt
I have not been with my partner for 3 years. When I moved I changed my address on everything, even went to a solicitor to remove myself from the house we had jointly bought.
I have just received a message from him telling me to sort out an £8K debt that I have with Barclays as he wants to move and he can't get a loan.
Is this right? why would my debt affect him?

Probably because you are still linked at the credit reference agencies due to prior joint mortgage / joint accounts etc.
What your ex. needs to do is file a notice of disassociation with the credit reference agencies.
