Mysterious phone call

Didn't know where to put this so the mods may have to move.

My misses got a call on her mobile at 4:30 this morning so I made a note of the number and tried it this morning at work.

I didn't get an answer just went on to 'leave a message'. The number was a Cardiff one.

Anyone any ideas might just be someone belling the wrong mobile. I'm not detailing the number as it would be out of order if someone has just made a simple mistake.

Have you tried googling the number? or trying whocallsme?

my general thoughts are if its important they will call back and if not doesnt matter than you missed it.

however as they have said check with whocallsme to see if its a known number, if not likelyhood is its just a error - and who wouldnt have problems dialing the correct number at 4:30 monday morning

I get odd phone calls that ring once. I have heard they are con merchants that hope you will call back & its a premium type number.

If its genuine they will call back at a normal hour of day.

I suspect you are right with this suggestion....Cardiff on a sunday night is a great night out drunkan 4am phonecalls are quite possible!
