  • Thanks :)

I've got 4 accounts I could use, I've got some money set aside for a big car bill coming up in 1 but the other 3 are empty so I'll have to set myself a budget for things and make use of them :)

Just joined the £2 savers club, & I'll have a look at some of the other challenges later. Like the sound of the 100day one, if I'm good I should be able to clear my Cap1 in that time!?!

  • Hi, just come across your diary :)

You seem to be doing really well and sound motivated! It's a good idea to start a spending diary- It's amzing how easily money can get frittered away (I'm really bad for this! :o) I'm trying to start by withdrawing money from the cash point for the week and not using my debit card when it's run out!

    Good luck! *subscribes*
  • Thanks blue-bells I've been in debt since I was 20 so nearly 7 years :( I just want it gone now!! If I stop wasting money & having nothing to show for it, it shouldn't be too hard... but I like shopping:o

    Things done today
    • Post letter to Kays asking for the account to be closed :j
    • Posted out ebay items
    • Taken out "spending" money for the month
    Not done
    • Paid 3/4 of spending money into my new account
    • have a no spend day :(
Still feeling rotten with the cold so by the time I'd been to the supermarket and PO I just wanted to get back to the office and sit down... how sad is that :p
I wanted to have a nsd but bought some cold & flu tablets and a box of tissues. Would have liked the ones that are kinder to your nose but they were nearly 3quid a box  bought some boring man size for £1 instead:T

Oh and a bit miffed that I didn't get any £2 coins in my change after I've joined the £2 savers challenge :(

  • Morning...
Well I think the cold is going, not feeling as bad today. Last shift today before my days off:j Hoping to have a NSD too but I might need to fill up my car, it's on the red but the light isn't on yet. Hope I can get home, I'm going to see my friend on Thur/Fri and petrol in her town is normally about 2p/litre cheaper.

Nothing on my to do list today, by the time I get home from work I won't want to do anything except chill out & watct telly :)

:money: It's shocking how petrol varies from one area to another! Always best to look around when filling up.

I was aiming for a NSD as well but have already managed to spend £4.50.. so early in the day as well! :o
  • The worst thing is there are 2 refineries round here... the garage across the road from them is the most expensive, even though one of them makes their petrol!

Just had someone ask if I was relisting one of my unsold items on ebay as they forgot to bid :D

Hi Anonymoose, hope your cold shifts soon. I got petrol yesterday and nearly passed out when I saw the price - I just don't know how they justify it.

Anyway enough whinging! What have you got planned for you day's off?
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Hopefully there's enough to get me home tonight *crosses fingers*
I haven't really thought about my days off too much :) Really want to go and see my friend & her little girl (my god daughter :A ) Haven't been to see them for a while :( So that will be on Thurs or Fri.
I need to have a sort out for more ebay stuff, I've nearly got enough cash saved to buy the part for my car now, but not the labour... luckily the garage I go to are really good and I don't have to pay them straight away.

Then it's just the usual housework and stuff. Might give my car a clean if it's nice too.

:joooh home in 5 minutes :j

    I'll be back tomorrow x

  • Hello

Well my car was nice to me last night & the petrol gauge went up a little bit so I managed a nsd yesterday :T
Found the log in details for my ING savings last night too, when I checked I had £15 in there :jgoing to set up a SO to that again.

    Things to do today
    • Get dressed:o
    • Check banks online
    • Pay in this months spending money
    • Wrap friend's birthday present & post it
    • Ironing
    • Tidy living room & kitchen
    • Clean downstairs windows _pale_
    • Go through freezer & cupboards so I can do a shopping list for tonight
If I get most of that done I'll be happy:beer: I'd guess the windows might not get done though:whistle:

    xx
