Tesco Loan
Hi,
I need to consolidate a loan, an overdraft and some credit card balances to reduce my monthly outgings - about £9k in total.
I've been looking at the Tesco Loan and notice that they offer a pretty reasonable loan for this amount. I don't normally look at payment protection as I think this is better covered by a seperate policy, but in Tesco's case, I notice that if you take the "Total Cover" that they give you £100 a month of Tesco vouchers for use in-store or on-line. The cost of this cover is about £40.
Does anyone know if there is a limit to the amount of vouchers you can use in any one shop, or can I use all £100 to practically pay for my monthly shop, saving me £60 a month.
Thanks for looking (and hopefully responding!)
Neil.

There's owt for free!
Tread very carefully before applying/signing up for anything like this.
Tesco are not renowned for giving money away - there must be a catch somewhere.0 -
The £100 a month Tesco vouchers are only for when you are claiming under the insurance. So if you never claim under it, you won't get any vouchers.
Hope this helps.Total Debt as of January 2010: £61,234

Thanks. I should've read the policy document on the internet a bit closer. I thought it was too good to be true.
I'll now look into one of Martin's best buys instead.
Thanks again. :beer:0
