Will let you all know when I am sorted and get a debt free date... I can't wait to have the creditors off my back!

Hi KittyKat,
I've done the same today. I contacted cccs and feel 100% better. In fact, I cooked b/f a lovely meal and bought a bottle of chardonnay with some of my bday money. :T
I've been struggling and this was my only option. Hopefully one day we'll say  to each other when we're debt free :T :T :T

Good evening, I was thinking of contacting payplan myself to discuss my debts. Were they really helpful, do you know if it affects your credit rating?
Thank you0 -

I'm pretty sure that paying back your debts on time helps your credit rating.
My credit rating must be through the roof - I applied for a 0% balance transfer credit card and they gave me a starting limit of £3000. Flattered, I'm sure.
I think I've only missed one payment in the past 6 years, and that was an accident and I got them to refund the £30 charge. :mad:Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)

Hi spacegirl,
They were more than helpful, I felt really nervous and ashamed when I called them but felt 100% once I came off the phone, knowing that I was finally facing up to my problems and having someone to help me.

when you start your iIVA no one will lend you anything and you agree to not getting any more credit for the term of the IVA
i was told that twelve months after your IVA has finished you credit rating is restored
but i still receive loads of bumf from credit companies every month....
think its got something to do with my name being listed as going through an IVA
ONLY 2 MORE YEARS TO GO0
