If I get into trouble tomorrow for laughing while I am in there I will blame you greenbee and soapie. I will be picturing you all in there, especially Dusty leaving orange everywhere. Problem is the scanner is a portable one so it's just a big caravan really:eek:

Soapie if you wouldn't mind standing down wind it should be fine.

I'll be the one coming in late; I appear to have a lot of glasses to wash up

3tabbycats - good luck with the bathroom refit!

Thanks! The only downside will be having to work harder on bathroom day but it'll be soooo worth it! :D

Sandy - can you take a cd with you tomorrow, it might be nicer to have a tune or 2 to take your mind off it..

Thank you all, you are so kind.

    Right, here goes.

My neurologist is always very to the point which can be good but maybe not this time:(
Basically he said he thinks it is one of 2 things. Another stroke, which is unlikely because it didn't happen suddenly (my last one was 20 years ago) or a brain tumour. He has got me in for an urgent MRI tomorrow then I have to wait for the results.

I feel sick all the time and I am so scared. I keep crying and I don't know how I will cope with any of this:(

You know what the magic wor din that is don't you>...

    THINKS...

He isn't certain, he doesn't know.. it may well be any number of wild and varied things..

It could be a reaction to your medication, it could be mini-seizures, it could be Parkinsons.. a whole huge variety of things.. so you are simply not allowed to worry about it until you know for sure what you are dealing with.

When you do know what you are dealing with you will not be allowed to worry either.. you will be focussing on healing and repairing the problem and making it go away.

My 7 year old has to go for an MRI in the summer.. we think she has a growth hormone deficiency same as her brother. He has an undersized pituitary so it doesn't produce enough growth hormone caused by the oxygen starvation duing his cardiac arrests at birth.. which also caused his other issues too.

And please.. keep sharing with us.. you need to be able to offload and not bottle up your feelings (says the bottle bank!)

Hugs AnW's - a toxic friend is no nice - sending you coping vibes xxx

Thanks, I was very shocked by her behaviour yesterday, it really put me about so much so I felt physically sickened by it all. It will get resolved soon one way or another, I shall register my displeasure (as will others who also witnessed it) and move on. There is no time or room in my life for those who are what I consider to be (my) time wasters, I have enough to deal with without adding to it.

I can vouch for the portable scanners being very comfy... that's the kind I fell asleep in ;) and if it's OK with you I'll be bringing my clients with me, as I've just had a 3pm booking. They'll be the idiots in the suits

AnW's mum... you know what we do with toxic friends on here. We declutter them. Pronto... so get on with it and you'll feel MUCH better...

Well I haven't really slept since Monday night so falling asleep sounds good. Bring anyone you like, sounds like we will be having a party in there anyway.;)

AnW I decluttered my toxic friends trouble is I only have one left now:o
Get rid of her, I realised mine were just to much hassle and only wanted me for what I could give them. It never worked the other way:mad:
