do you think we could ever have a PM who doesn't have kids or isn't married?

i find it a bit depressing that the demographic for potential leaders is so narrow.

    we've allready had one.

  • It wouldn't bother me if he sent them to private school. It's a free country.

This country seems to insist on a leader who is prepared to put their own image before the welfare of their own children. And people wonder why they all turn out to be psychopaths...

It wouldn't bother me either - I don't think the country insists on state schooling for children of leaders of political parties - I think it just the thing to do - leaders seem to want to be all things to all people.

Gordon Brown is sending his eldest to a state primary school too.
The Prime Minister, on the other hand, has chosen Millbank School, one mile from Number 10 for eldest son, John. It is the closest non-faith school to Downing Street and is said to be a model of high achievement, despite serving a highly diverse, underprivileged area.

George Osborne has chosen private schooling.

IMHO, it's up to them how they choose to educate their children.

surely the prestigious sobriquet 'tory boy' belongs to that millionaire with a few questions left to answer about his expenses: mincing michael gove?

    .

If his kids take after him, then they will need every bit of help money can buy.
