Car damage in 'secure' carpark

Hi
Looking for a bit of advice from people who may have had a similar problem. I went on a 5 day trip by a large ferry company (unnamed as Ive emailed them and awaiting reply), and parked in their £12/day 'secure' carpark, as the surrounding area is a bit dodgy.
On the way home, I stopped for petrol/air pressures, and found the front bumper cracked and heavily scrapped with paint. The bumpers not falling off, but its not an insignificant amount of damage, even though the car's a fairly old (but originally expensive) saloon.
Ive emailed the company asking what the usual process is, and if they have CCTV. Problem is, I have no idea when over the 5 days the damage could have occurred, and as I didnt notice it until having left the carpark, I cant check the colour etc of adjacent cars.
I presume they will say if I want to claim, its on my insurance, and their cctv (if they have it) either cant be reviewed or expired. However, having paid £60 for 'secure' parking, I'd be a bit miffed if they just fobbed me off.
Any thoughts appreciated.

You don't have a leg to stand on.
You have no proof that the car wasn't like that before you got there or after you left and stopping for your munchies.

Acknowledged re proving the damage, but what does 'secure' consitute? Not expecting it to mean theres no chance of someone bumping your car, ut should it include CCTV, assistance in identifying these incidents etc, or just a fence round a carpark?0
